California I heart you.

As promised, my California photos with the 35mm X-700 Minolta SLR. I love that thing, I also used random cheap ebay film, good find too, The ones I go are holding up pretty well. I also got my hands on my first 50mm 1.2. MD Rokkor-X 50mm 1:1.2

I seriously LOVE it. My best lens that I own aside the Zeiss 50mm 1.4 for my Canon 40D.

ANYWHO, here are the long awaited photos.


Clouds! I haven't seen beautiful scenery before this trip to California, I absolutely loved the trip.






I was really enjoying the clouds, they looked so much better out in the middle of now where than in the middle of downtown Chicago.


I thought this was neat, it was my first encounter with a cactus in nature.


These were the guys I went with, we crammed into a small Honda CRV that was packed with Dave's stuff.

I think that there is more lost than ever given.

It's a habit of not keeping up with my life. Things seems to run by real fast, certain events and choices are needed to be made. I would love to stay in California and do photography here but there are matters back home and a life that must be addressed before I run after a dream in California.



Cheers to road trips. Once I leave you California, you know I will just be dreaming of you.
